چکیده مقاله
Early teacher retention has received a lot of attention over the past years. And inattention to it has bring about a lot of irreparable problems such early teacher attrition and burnout which are likely to negatively influence the student achievement. The current research aimed at examining the present statuses of Farhangian University. To this end, we asked 80 teacher students (pre-service teachers) to respond to six questions which were informed by the existing literature and the researchers’ own ideas. The analysis of the qualitative data revealed that while strong peer relationships and supportive classroom interactions foster enthusiasm and positively influence learning, systemic institutional shortcomings significantly undermine student motivation and preparedness. Certain teacher-training courses—such as practicum, psychology, health, and life skills—were well received, demonstrating the value of targeted curricular components. However, persistent weaknesses were identified in professors’ proficiency, curriculum relevance, and especially physical infrastructure and educational resources. Pedagogical implications are discussed.
